MRI/MRA

Magnetic resonance imaging or MRI uses radio waves and magnetic fields rather than radiation to diagnose many types of problems virtually anywhere in the body. It produces remarkably clear and detailed pictures of internal organs and tissues.

Magnetic resonance angiography or MRA utilizes the MRI technology and is used for studies of the blood vessels. MRA studies may be performed with a special form of contrast to make MRI images even clearer.

Our technologists are registered with MRI Certification.

Hours of Operation:
Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Angiography (Special Procedure)

Special Procedures, including Angiography, are minimally invasive medical tests, using special x-ray equipment, that help physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. Most exams are done on an outpatient basis. These include the placement of special tubes for receiving medications or removing fluid, injections for the relief of back or joint pain, and the visualization of blood vessels by injecting contrast material into an artery. Most procedures do require some type of preparation prior to the examination.

Hours of Operation:
Monday thru Friday 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
On-call (emergency) - After regular hours

CT

Computerized Tomography or CT Scan enables a physician to visualize detailed and accurate cross-sectional anatomy of the entire body. An oral and/or intravenous contrast dye may be used before and during the scan to help highlight the area being examined. During the scan, a thin x-ray beam is focused on a specific part of the body and then a computer analyzes the information and constructs an image on a video monitor. The images produces allow our radiologists to detect abnormalities that are not seen on conventional x-rays.

Our technologists are licensed and registered.

Hours of Operation:
Sunday thru Saturday - 24-hours

Cardiac Nuclear Medicine

Nuclear medicine is a healthcare specialty involving the use of radioactive compounds to perform diagnostic imaging examinations that can lead to the effective treatment of many diseases.

Cardiac nuclear medicine refers to these diagnostic tests that are used to examine the anatomy and function of the heart.

Our technologists are licensed and registered.

Hours of Operation:
Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Nuclear Medicine

Nuclear Medicine tests utilize isotopes and a large camera to capture and track images of a number of internal organs including the liver, thyroid, heart and brain.

Our technologists are licensed and registered.

Hours of Operation:
Monday thru Friday 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. - Noon
On-Call (emergency) - After regular hours

Ultrasound

An Ultrasound examination, or sonogram, is a diagnostic test that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce high quality images of soft tissues and motion within the body.

Our technologists are licensed and registered.

Hours of Operation:
Monday thru Friday 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
On-Call (emergency) - After regular hours

Diagnostic X-Rays

Radiography or x-rays as it more commonly known, is the oldest and most frequently used form of medical imaging. X-rays can produce diagnostic images of the human body on film or digitally on a computer screen. Diagnostic procedures include digital fluoroscopy, contrast diagnostic studies for urology, gastrointestinal, neurology, and gynecological and routine exams.

Our technologists are licensed and registered.

Hours of Operation:
Sunday thru Saturday - 24-hours

Echo Cardiogram

Echo Cardiogram is a test that uses sound waves to produce a moving image of a beating heart on a video screen. The physician can study the hearts thickness, size and function as well as the motion pattern and structure of the four heart valves.

Our technologists are licensed and registered.

Hours of Operation:
Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m..
Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Vascular Lab

Our comprehensive Vascular Laboratory is accredited by ICAVL and provides many non-invasive studies to evaluate arteries and veins. These tests can assist the physician in identifying blood clots, artery blockages, aneurysms and other information that may help with diagnosis and treatment.

Our services include:

  • Carotid Duplex
  • Venous Duplex (DVT, upper & lower extremity)
  • Venous Reflux Testing
  • Graft Surveillance
  • Arterial Physiologic Testing (upper & lower extremity)
  • Digit Temperature Scanning

Hours of Operation:
Monday thru Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Mammography

Mammography uses safe, low doses of x-rays to image the inside of breasts and is the best tool for diagnosing early breast cancer. We are a participant of the Women's Cancer Program.

Certified by the FDA with ACR accreditation. All technologists are licensed, registered and Mammography certified.

Hours of Operation:
Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Saturday (twice a month) 8:00 a.m. to Noon

Full Field Digital Mammography

Through the use of computers and specially designed digital detectors, full filed digital mammography produces images that can be displayed on a high-resolution computer monitor in a matter of seconds, enabling the radiologist to adjust the brightness, change contrast and zoom in for close-ups of specific areas of interest.

Additinal benefits to patients include a shorter time spent in the breast imaging suite, as there is no waiting for film to develop, as well as a significant reduction in exposure to x-rays.

Certified by the FDA with ACR accreditation. All technologists are licensed, registered and Mammography certified.

Bone Densitometry

A bone densitometer uses a very small dose of radiation to measure your bone mineral density. This assists with diagnosis about your bone status and fracture risk.

Our technologists are licensed and registered.

Hours of Operation:
Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Saturday (twice a month) 8:00 a.m. to Noon
